2D Animator

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced 2D animator to bring a 2-minute animated comedy scene to life. Think Family Guy meets Rick and Morty in terms of tone and visual style.

Details

Characters are already designed but will need to be rigged for animation. Scene is fully storyboarded and includes voice-over and sound. The animation should be smooth, expressive, and match the timing of the dialogue. This is a one-off gig for now, but we’re looking to build an ongoing relationship for future episodes and shorts.

What We’re Looking For

Strong portfolio showing similar work (animated dialogue scenes, etc.). Ability to rig and animate original characters in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, or equivalent. Good communication and ability to take direction/feedback. Strong written and spoken English skills are a must. Reliability and a collaborative attitude.

Delivery

Final delivery should include: The completed 2-minute animated scene (HD video file). Rigged versions of all characters used. All associated project files (including layered artwork, rigs, and animation files). Any custom assets created during the project (backgrounds, props, etc.).

Timeline

We’d love to get the finished scene back within 3–4 weeks of starting.
