Role Summary

We are looking for someone passionate about digital art, preferably game art aesthetics, creative, and willing to learn and grow. As a 2D Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality assets based on visual concepts and briefs from the Head of Art who you will directly report to.

Key Responsibilities

– Create high-quality 2D art assets, including characters, environments, and UI elements, based on visual briefs and concepts.

– Create high-quality spine animations, export and optimise them to ensure smooth in-game performance.

– Create quick static (Photoshop) and animated (After Effects) mockups to convey the game flow and design ideas.

– Understand and follow visual feedback to refine and enhance game assets.

– Work directly with the Head of Art and report progress and challenges.

– Collaborate with the art and development teams to ensure consistent and cohesive visual styles across all projects.

– Utilise basic Spine animation skills to bring characters and elements to life.

– Apply the understanding of UI design to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Qualifications and Skills Required

– Experience in iGaming strongly preferred.

– Strong visual design skills, particularly in colour theory and layout design.

– A strong portfolio demonstrating skills in character design, environment design, and game UI design.

– Proficient in Spine animation.

– Good understanding of game UI design principles.

– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

– Ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to learn and develop new skills.

– Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
