About Anachronaut Productions
Anachronaut Productions is an independent animation studio, focusing on hybrid animation, founded in 2023. We are a fully remote studio, but are based in the United States. We aim to be able to provide project experience to entry level and juniors looking to get a start in the industry.
Job Position
We are looking for a 2D Harmony Builds artist, who has previous experience with building rigs in Toonboom Harmony for this position. This is a short term freelance contract (2 Months). This is a entry level position. The start date is late February.
Responsibilities
Commit to deliverables and manage your goals within regular deadlines, while maintaining the appropriate style over the course of a project. Willing to present work to a team, seek input, and incorporate feedback from leads. Able to rig a human with full lip-sync capabilities Attend weekly meetings with animators to edit and enhance assets to better suit the pipeline and needs from animators Collaborate with the rigging team to create finalized assets for animators
Qualifications
Be able to meet deadlines set by the Producer Fluency in English Previous experience with 2D Harmony Building, with a portfolio or website to showcase previous builds. (Advertising, Short film, feature film, game, series, etc). Previous rigging experience with characters in Toonboom
Requirements
Access to Toonboom Harmony will be needed for this position Access to digital meeting apps, including Zoom and Float Portfolio or website demonstrating previous experience
Additional Information
This project is for the short film, Submersed. Artists will be asked about availability to work on other projects post contract. Work from this project will be subject to an NDA. Please apply through here or our website, anachronautproductions.com

We are a fully remote studio, based in the USA. Meetings are held through Zoom, and dailies are communicated through Discord / Gmail. Access to these programs are essential. As a contracted freelancer, there are no set hours or work days, and are expected to communicate about potential delays to delivered assets.
