Calling all Awesome Sprite/ Pixel Artists!
Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and consoles, is seeking 2D Sprite/Pixel Artists to join their existing talent pool.
Job Overview
Qualified candidates will link up with imaginative design teams to create hot new game titles, fulfilling a wide range of genres from hardcore action to casual simulation.
Responsibilities
As a key member of the development team, you’ll create game art within challenging parameters while working with other well-known pixel artists from the initial concept art to animation to the final delivery.
Must-haves/ Know-how
Experience on creating game graphics (for professionally released game or for leisure) Proficient in Photoshop, Promotion and/or other drawing software Strong understanding of the principles of animation A solid background in drawing, sketching and/or illustration Think creatively, work well independently and as a team player
You’ll earn brownie points if you have
Knowledge about optimization of computer art A love for video games, inside & out Sprite/Pixel art experience creating sprite/pixel art for GB, GBA or mobile games for low-resolution computer graphics: 2D video games, sprites, icons, etc. Self-taught candidates are welcome!
Position Details
This is a full-time on-site position located in Manhattan.
