Position Summary
As a 3D Animator, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and animating high-quality 3D assets for our projects. You will work closely with the creative team to conceptualize and implement animations that meet our aesthetic standards and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities
Create and animate 3D models, environments, and characters for various projects using Blender and/or Maya.
Develop high-quality animations that align with project requirements and deadlines.
Collaborate with the creative, design, and production teams to deliver cohesive visual storytelling.
Refine animations based on feedback from directors and other stakeholders.
Utilize knowledge of lighting, textures, and rigging to enhance realism and visual appeal.
Stay updated on the latest animation trends, tools, and software advancements.
Optimize 3D assets and animations for different formats, including web, video, and mobile platforms.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Blender or Maya: expertise in one or both of these 3D animation software programs is essential.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in 3D animation.
A strong portfolio showcasing previous 3D animations, especially character or environment animations (please include links).
Skills
Understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and fluidity.
Knowledge of rigging, lighting, texturing, and rendering.
Familiarity with other animation and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise, high-quality animations with a strong sense of realism.
Creativity: Excellent artistic and creative skills, with an eye for detail and composition.
Team player: Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.
