Job Summary

The Multimedia Artist Animator will create animation, special effects, and other images for commercials.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Collaborates with a team to brainstorm, develop, and complete projects.
• Creates sketches and models using computer animation or modelling software.
• Creates storyboards to demonstrate animation sequences and illustrate key scenes in the production.
• Uses computers, film, digital cameras, and other tools to create graphics and animation.
• Produces digital film negatives and proofs.
• Ability to work in 2D animation, 3D modelling, stop-motion, or computer-generated animation
• create storyboards that depict the script and narrative
• develop the timing and pacing of character or object movements to match soundtrack and audio cues
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to think creatively and express new ideas.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Extremely proficient with 3D animation software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related field required.
• Two years of related experience required, including human and nonhuman animation.
