Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Blender 3D Artist to collaborate on an exciting helicopter modeling project. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of hands-on experience in Blender and a strong understanding of mechanical structures, precise modeling, building measurements, and realistic texturing/coloring techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Create a highly detailed and accurate 3D model of a helicopter using Blender. Ensure precision in mechanical design, including parts like rotors, engines, landing gear, etc. Apply realistic textures, materials, and colors. Follow reference materials and technical specifications to ensure model accuracy. Optimize the model for performance without compromising on quality.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience working with Blender in a professional or freelance capacity. Strong background in mechanical modeling and hard-surface design. Excellent understanding of building measurements, proportions, and detailing. Proficiency in UV mapping, texturing, and rendering. Attention to detail and ability to follow precise guidelines. Portfolio showcasing realistic 3D mechanical models is a must (helicopter or similar preferred).
Bonus Skills
Experience with rigging or animation (optional but appreciated). Knowledge of aviation components or technical drawing interpretation.
