Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and talented 3D Designer Intern with a focus on 3D hard surface modeling, character modeling & rigging to join our creative team. Key Responsibilities
Character Modeling: Create high-quality 3D character models, based on concept art and design specifications.
Texturing and UV Mapping: Apply textures and UV maps to 3D models to ensure they meet the artistic vision and technical requirements of the project.
Rigging and Animation Support: Assist in the rigging and animation process to bring characters to life, ensuring they move and interact smoothly within the game environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with the design and development teams to integrate character models into various projects, ensuring consistency and quality.
Feedback Implementation: Take direction and feedback from senior artists and other team members to refine and polish 3D models.
Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in 3D modeling and character design.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in 3D Design, Animation, Game Design, or a related field.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush, or similar tools. Experience with texturing software like Substance Painter is a plus.
Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing your 3D character modeling skills, including examples of rigging and texturing work.
Creativity: Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and technically sound 3D models.
Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Passion: A passion for gaming, XR technologies, and a keen eye for detail in character design.
