About Us

My name is Benjamin, I am the Brand Manager of Weizenkind®, a German startup focused on environmentally friendly products with a modern, minimalistic design.

Project Overview

We plan to 3D print the prototypes ourselves, so that we can have the products in our hands and optimize it with you until we have a final 3D-file ready to send to our manufacturer.

The Product

We are developing a soap dish and a matching travel soap dish box and have found a reference design we like. However, we’d like to make adjustments:

Soap Dish

Keep the general design but adjust the grooves (less pointy, more round, and different direction).

Box Design

While we like the design concept of the soap dish (the middle piece in the reference), we'd like assistance in creating a new minimalistic/modern design concept for the box. It should fully enclose the soap dish with a soap bar, include a secure closing mechanism, with rounded edges for a better fit in travel bags. As you will see in the reference, the soap dish is part of the box, but we want it to fit entirely inside.

Closing Mechanism Options

We are considering a living hinge with snap closure, friction-fit lid, two-piece snap fit, or a sliding/drawer-style lid—but are open to suggestions.

Branding

We have a logo and symbols to be integrated into the product surfaces.
