Experienced 3D Renderer Needed for Monumental Concept: The Weight of Dreams
Project Description
I am seeking a talented and experienced 3D renderer who can work with multiple textures and complex materials to bring a powerful conceptual monument to life. The piece is titled “The Weight of Dreams” – a tribute to the struggle, endurance, and unwavering hope of the African American community.
Design Details
The design is intricate and emotionally rich, requiring a sensitive yet skillful approach to 3D rendering. The materials include thick nylon rope, galvanized carbon steel, and concrete, each carrying symbolic and structural importance.
Scope of Work
Three (3) high-resolution renders (300 dpi, 300 pixels) on a white background with a subtle whisper shadow
Two (2) high-resolution realistic environmental renders
Close-up detail render of engraved text on galvanized steel
Environmental views to include:
- Front view
- Close-up of the central gravestone portion
- Full monument in context/environment
Project Details
The piece is 45 feet tall, anchored by four symbolic pillars: greed, envy, ignorance, and power trips
Nylon ropes, etched with Dr. King’s words, suspend heavy weights representing power and brokenness
The monument is surrounded by a 60-by-30-foot oval concrete seating area
At the core, a galvanized steel panel carries a powerful engraved message by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Materials to be Rendered
Nylon rope (thick texture, 2-inch)
Galvanized carbon steel (reflective but matte, detailed engravings)
Concrete (polished for seating, rough for base)
Revision Rounds
A couple of revisions during modeling
More revisions during rendering for lighting, texture realism, and environmental accuracy
Timeline & Budget
Delivery Date: April 30th (can be adjusted based on your availability)
Total Budget: $150 (negotiable depending on experience and quality of portfolio)
