Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor and Animator who specializes in using Adobe After Effects to create dynamic and engaging visual content for social media. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motion graphics, animation, and video editing, focusing on using stock footage and animated elements rather than shooting real footage. You will be responsible for producing high-quality videos for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. Your work will help elevate our brand presence through captivating visual storytelling and professional-grade animations.
Key Responsibilities
• Video Editing:
o Edit stock footage and existing video clips to create compelling visual content.
o Sync audio with video, adjust colors, and enhance footage quality.
• Animation and Motion Graphics:
o Create animated sequences, transitions, and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
o Design and animate text overlays, lower thirds, intro/outro sequences, and visual effects.
o Implement animated infographics, typography animations, and visual storytelling elements.
• Creative Collaboration:
o Work closely with content creators, marketing teams, and project managers to align on creative vision and project goals.
o Incorporate feedback and make revisions as necessary to meet quality standards.
• Asset Management:
o Source and curate high-quality stock footage, animated assets, and visual elements from reputable libraries.
o Maintain organized project files, video assets, and animation templates for future use.
Requirements
• Experience:
o Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Video Editor and Animator.
o Proven expertise with Adobe After Effects and other relevant video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Illustrator).
o Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation projects, and edited videos using stock footage.
• Skills:
o Proficient in creating motion graphics, kinetic typography, and visual effects.
o Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and storytelling skills.
o Ability to manipulate and edit stock footage to fit project narratives.
o Knowledge of color grading, audio editing, and basic sound design.
o Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
o Bilingual (English/Arabic)
