In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your artistic talents to create engaging comic book content that resonates with audiences. You’ll collaborate closely with writers and other artists, helping to bring imaginative stories to life through compelling visuals.
Responsibilities
* Assist in illustrating comic book pages, including character design, backgrounds, and panel layouts
* Collaborate with writers to understand the narrative and visual storytelling elements
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for character development and plot progression
* Incorporate feedback from senior artists and editors to refine artwork and ensure high-quality output
* Maintain consistent style and quality throughout the comic series
Required Qualifications
* Strong foundational skills in drawing and illustration, with a focus on character design and storytelling
* Proficiency in traditional and/or digital illustration tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Wacom, Clip Studio Paint)
* Understanding of comic book layouts and pacing
* Portfolio showcasing relevant artistic work, including sketches, finished pieces, and comic panels
