Segritude Games was established in 2023. We have a great development team with multiple experiences to make a unique game together as a game development team. As a start-up company agreement for (Minimum of 15 hours per week) where you will be required to use a clock-in portal within Discord.

Payment and Agreement

We can promise payment once any sort of profit or copies are sold, this also means the same whenever we find and secure investors for this project which we are doing our best to find. Meanwhile working on this game, and we are doing our best to gain funding to ensure our team gets paid. (Contract Agreement Included)

Role

As a Concept Artist for our open-world, stylized multiplayer survival game developed on Unreal Engine 5, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative vision and gameplay experience. Our project draws inspiration from Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and your expertise will be crucial in bringing this vision to life in a multiplayer context using Unreal Engine 5.

Role: Concept Artist (Contract Remote)

As our Concept Artist, you’ll be the visual spark behind our characters, environments, and props translating game mechanics and narrative beats into compelling, on-point artwork. You’ll collaborate with our director, game designers, and fellow artists to define the look and feel of the project, delivering polished concept pieces and iterating quickly on feedback. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup setting and takes ownership of their creative vision.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the director and design team to understand narrative beats, gameplay mechanics, and world-building needs. Create high-quality concept art for characters, environments, props, and potentially UI elements that align with the game’s style and technical constraints.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as a Concept Artist in the video game industry, with a strong, professional portfolio. Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or equivalent digital art tools. Excellent grasp of anatomy, perspective, lighting, color theory, and composition.

Preferred Qualifications

3D blocking skills in ZBrush, Blender, or Maya for silhouette exploration. Experience developing art bibles, style guides, or visual documentation. Familiarity with Unreal Engine art pipelines and asset integration. Animation or motion graphics experience for dynamic concept previews.
