Creative Director at The Mcbride Company

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and visionary creative director, designer, and illustrator with a strong creative sensibility and the ability to translate client objectives into architectural-based sketches, renderings, models, and layouts using digital tools. The ideal candidate will contribute meaningfully to the conceptual development and creative direction of a diverse range of hospitality-focused projects. This individual will be responsible for delivering innovative, comprehensive design solutions from concept through production, playing a key role in shaping the visual and experiential aspects of our work.

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with team members and senior leadership to develop innovative and strong conceptual design ideas. Produce high-quality visual content, including hand sketches, digital 3D renderings, and fully developed artistic representations of project areas to represent those ideas. Contribute to the definition of a project’s visual identity, including color palettes, material selections, spatial contours, and overall design language. Present design concepts and visual materials to internal teams, clients, brand partners, and other stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and professional manner.

Experience Guidelines:

A portfolio that demonstrates a high level of artistic ability, conceptual clarity, and design originality. Experience in the design and development process for physical environments and experiences with a focus on hospitality. The ability to convey ideas and concepts through hand-drawn sketches and illustrations. Proficiency in industry-standard visual design and presentation tools, including Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency in industry-standard architectural design software including Revit, CAD, and/or Rhino is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
