Are you a Black or Brown creative working in illustration, comics, anime, or visual storytelling?
Do you believe in the power of art to inspire and empower? We’d love to work with you! Blerd Chronicles is a new virtual workshop series led by Writing For Freedom, a nonprofit dedicated to creative literacy and storytelling for liberation. We’re looking for passionate artists to lead one-time sessions for young women of color (ages 18+) who are eager to learn from real-world creatives.
Each selected artist will:
✅ Lead one 30-minute virtual art workshop ✅ Engage in a 10-minute Q&A ✅ Receive a $150 honorarium ✅ Inspire the next generation of visual storytellers 💫
Support and Logistics
We provide the platform, handle logistics, and support you every step of the way. Workshops will run once a month from October 2025 through February 2026.
