Responsibilities
Designing gamer-centric animations and visual effects for game environments, characters, and user interface elements. Working closely with other teams, artists, and developers to run an effective and dynamic game-creating process. Conducting end-to-end process of the game design while maintaining a high-quality standard. Keeping up with emerging game art and animation trends to maintain a fresh and dynamic perspective. Explore and experiment with new technologies to push the boundaries of game animation. Practicing in each stage of game development, from design to user experience, and visual storytelling. Bringing creative ideas and fresh perspectives to enhance game design and structure.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field. Proven experience in 2D animation and visual arts. Solid knowledge of animation software such as After Effects, Spine, and other relevant tools to produce top-quality assets. Previous experience in the gaming industry is a significant advantage. Having high standards for creating high-quality visual effects using particle systems. Good know-how of Unity is a plus. Demonstrate a keen eye for composition, color theory, lighting, and animation timing. Clear comprehension of character dynamism, physics-based animation, and core animation principles. Understand gameplay mechanics and pay attention to the smallest details to enhance the player experience. Excel in a collaborative environment with strong communication and teamwork skills.
