We’re Looking For
An experienced gameplay animator to join our animation team that will be responsible for creating and implementing high-quality animations, and to bring the vision of an ambitious sci-fi MMORPG to life.
In This Role You Will
Collaborating daily with the Animation Lead and Gameplay Design Team. Help capture, edit, and modify motion capture data. Create detailed gameplay animation and interactions. Help design and take ownership over key gameplay animation features. Taking responsibility for the animation-related aspects of the game, to create the best possible player experience. Work effectively with a cross-discipline team, prototyping and drafting animations to efficiently explore and validate new ideas in game.
Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience in AA/AAA Gameplay Animation. Professional knowledge of Maya and game-engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or equivalent. Solid knowledge of animation principles and an eye for dynamic poses. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with producers, designers, as well as artists. Eagerness to receive, seek, and provide constructive feedback. Ability to mentor less experienced peers. Curiosity, kindness, and a positive and professional can-do attitude. Animation reel required.
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Experience with Vicon Shogun. Experience working on multiplayer games. Experience setting up / troubleshooting node-based state machines and animation graphs is a plus. Experience in developing animation pipelines and tools is a plus.
What We Offer
Salary offered is based on numerous factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills and organizational needs. Initial contract duration of 1 year (32-40 hours per week). Yearly full-time gross salary of € 52.000 – € 68.000 (including 8% holiday bonus). 25 vacation days per year + additional based on tenure. Annuity/pension (10% of base gross salary, paid monthly). Travel cost compensation (100% of NS train journey or € 0,23 per km of car/bicycle journey, paid monthly). Free lunch.
