About The Job
Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Illustrator to join a world class art team where you will be responsible for producing evocative illustrations that capture all the thrilling characters and environments of the Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar universes.
Responsibilities
As part of the renowned art team in our Nottingham Design Studio, you’ll be responsible for producing detailed, fantastical illustrations for various print products and formats, including Codexes, Battletomes and packaging.
Qualifications
Highly creative and with a deep passion for Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, we’ll look to you to use your imagination to generate new ideas while working to a brief and faithfully recreating our Citadel Miniatures in artwork. You’ll possess strong figure drawing and painting skills, and enjoy the challenge of producing highly rendered and appropriate art to strict deadlines, whilst always pushing quality.
Work Environment
Our Illustrators work predominantly in digital media, most commonly Photoshop, working hand in hand with our Writers and Graphic Designers to create a range of books and products for the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar game systems. These provide context and inspiration for Warhammer fans around the world.

Compensation
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!

Location: This role is based full time onsite at our UK headquarters in Nottingham.
