About The Job
We’re looking for an exceptional Illustrator with a flair for animation and a strong foundation in creative design to join TryHackMe on a fixed-term contract. You’ll play a big part in bringing the platform to life by shaping our new company mascot, animating key lesson content, and building the visual style that defines our product.
Responsibilities
Illustrate content for courses, landing pages, social media, and moreAnimate badges, characters, and lesson visuals in Rive (used across our product)Lead the development of our mascot “Echo” – designing expressions, poses, and character momentsCollaborate with the content and product teams to deliver engaging, on-brand visual workCreate occasional brand assets for slides, campaigns, and internal projects
Requirements
2+ years experience in illustration or designAbility to animate in Rive, or willingness to learn it quickly (non-negotiable for this role)Portfolio showcasing strong illustration skills (character design, digital assets, environments)Experience designing expressive characters and visuals that work in productComfortable working in Illustrator (our primary drawing tool)Strong design sense, great eye for detail, layout, and visual consistencyProactive, independent, and happy working at pace
