Junior 3D Environment Artist & Unreal Engine Designer

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, modeling, and optimizing high-quality 3D environments using Unreal Engine. You will play a role in creating immersive worlds for XR while ensuring technical and artistic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Create visually stunning 3D environments, landscapes, and props for use in Unreal Engine. Design and implement realistic lighting, textures, and materials to enhance scene quality. Develop and optimize assets to maintain performance efficiency within Unreal Engine. Utilize procedural tools and workflows for large-scale environment creation.

Requirements

Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4/5, including lighting, materials, and rendering pipelines. Strong 3D modeling and texturing skills using Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar software. Experience with PBR workflows and texture creation using Substance Painter/Designer. Understanding of level design, world-building, and environmental storytelling. Experience with procedural generation tools such as Houdini or World Machine is a plus. Ability to optimize assets for real-time rendering and maintain performance standards. Basic knowledge of Blueprints or scripting for environment interactivity is a bonus. Strong artistic sense and attention to detail in composition, lighting, and atmosphere.
