About the Role
We are partnering with an influential global player in the fintech space to find a talented Motion Lead for their Design System team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to shape innovative and seamless motion design experiences at scale, impacting millions of users worldwide. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, leveraging your expertise in motion design to create engaging, meaningful experiences that enhance the usability and visual appeal of digital products.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for advancing the strategic direction of motion design, ensuring that your work enhances user interactions, simplifies complex tasks, and delights users through thoughtful design. This role offers a unique chance to make an impact at the intersection of design, technology, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of motion-based solutions, aligning with product goals and enhancing user interactions across platforms. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of motion design within the larger design system, ensuring consistency and usability. Produce high-quality prototypes and motion graphics that visually communicate user flows and interactions. Foster the growth of junior designers, sharing insights and encouraging best practices. Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to iterate and refine motion solutions, ensuring they meet business and user needs. Advocate for design system standards and motion guidelines, ensuring all outputs are cohesive with brand and product principles.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in motion graphics, animation, and visual design with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in motion design and user interfaces. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, Lottie, and other motion design tools. Extensive experience in applying design systems to create scalable, high-quality motion solutions. A deep understanding of design principles including motion, typography, interaction, and visual storytelling. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
The total annual package for this role ranges from $350,000 to $430,000, including base salary, performance-based bonuses, and equity. Comprehensive benefits package, including flexible work options, health insurance, and stock plans.
