Project Details

The expected quality level should be comparable to World of Tanks (WoT) environments. You will receive level design documentation and concept art as a reference. You will work with stock assets, but be ready to model new assets or modify existing ones if needed.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Your main task would be to create a new level from scratch, including terrain, asset dressing, and setup in Unity. Create terrain (Microverse plugin), place assets, and optimize the scene for performance. Ensure the level aligns with design and gameplay requirements. Adjust and tweak the atmosphere and composition for an immersive experience. Modify or create 3D assets if necessary to match project needs. Lay out environments in the scene, integrating and configuring assets in the engine to align with the art direction. Collaborate with designers and other artists to maintain visual consistency.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

Senior/Middle Environment (Tech) artist. Portfolio with examples of creatively compelling scenes, levels, and environments created in a realistic style in Unity. Examples of full-cycle level production – blockouts, asset modelling, set dressing, lighting setup, optimization. Strong experience with Unity HDRP, Quixel packages, Substance Painter, and Speedtree. Excellent compositing and asset tuning skills. Ability to perform scene optimization and set up quality settings.
