Job Opportunity: Cinematic / Lighting Artist

Heroic, by Room 8 Group, is looking for a Cinematic / Lighting Artist to create, modify and improve the quality of art assets that our studio develops.

Superpowers You Have

Portfolio or demo reel that demonstrates a keen eye for detail and the ability to use light, shadow, and color to create a variety of tones and moods;Understanding of color theory, composition and lighting principles;Knowledge of post-processing effects such as color grading, exposure, tone mapping, etc;Knowledge of Autodesk Maya;Technical knowledge of Arnold, Octane, or similar render;Intermediate+ level of English proficiency, both written and spoken, for smooth communication and documentation.

You’re a Rockstar If You Have

Knowledge of UE5;Compositing skills;Working experience in the game industry or post-production;Experience playing games and knowledge of the aesthetics of cool games.

Your Role at Room 8 Studio

Create fantastic and eye-catching graphics for game trailers following the existing art style and within provided estimations;Create both the exterior and interior lighting within environments, the cinematic and character lighting;Implement shading materials and textures, improving the perception of lighting;Collaborate closely with production teams of our partners to create from scratch and support in the creation of videos in various settings and styles;Coordinate with Producer and Project Lead to achieve the best quality and participate in production pipelines optimization;Timely & fully implement the feedback from lead artists (internal and external).
