Your Role

As we continue to grow at great speed, we need a Midweight Motion Designer to help bring movement and energy to social content for our clients. With a keen sense of pacing and liveliness. Working knowledge of best practices in regard to legibility and onscreen read times. A keen ear for soundtracking and SFX, not just a visual thinker. The perfect candidate will be hardworking and willing to roll their sleeves up and do whatever is needed to deliver for our clients – this can involve long hours when deadlines are due.

Reporting to the Senior Designer, you will be responsible for delivering assets to engage and delight our clients’ followers. You’ll need to be motivated & positive; a can-do mentality is a must. We have a flat structure and believe no idea is a bad idea so there is lots of room to make your mark when it comes to design, ideation, process and structure. Key Responsibilities

Breathing motion into a range of creative assets with a strong executional style across social reels, explainer videos and DOOH. A high attention to detail with motion craft and consistent output. Comfortable with storyboarding and bringing the project through the animation pipeline. Work within the Design team alongside Digital and Creative designers. A portfolio of high-quality motion and animation sequences, not just final outputs but development too! Chip in to all levels of the process, whether it be artworking, making amends, coming up with new concepts for a campaign or art direction ideas. Nothing is too big or small when the job needs to be done! A thinker and someone who can break down workflows suggest improvements and bring a positive change into the team.

Requirements

3+ years design experience. Full working knowledge of Adobe After Effects (bonus if you know Blender or Cinema 4D). Portfolio and showreel should contain high quality work, both brand and activation level. Highly creative with good typography knowledge. Solid knowledge of social media platforms and what content works and why. Great attention to detail with ability to QA briefs and your own work, suggesting alternative ideas and approaches where appropriate. Adept at taking briefs and working on your own initiative, having the confidence to ask questions, turning to your peers for support and guidance where needed. Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time. A hard worker who’s not afraid to pull your sleeves up and get on with it. We’re a client service business and from time-to-time we have to work late to meet deadlines. Ambitious, growth mindset, hungry to succeed, with a passion for best-in-class creativity and perfection in delivery. An excellent communicator able to work with people at all levels from different functions. Able to manage multiple pieces of work and projects, in a fast-paced environment. A superb sense of humour. Dog friendly! There are a lot of furry friends roaming around our office so you’ll need to be ok working with our four-legged friends!
