About Us
We’re Danger Danger – a small but mighty design studio using illustration, animation and motion graphics to help brands in the sports, lifestyle and entertainment industries stand out.
Role Description
We’re on the lookout for someone who’s not just good at moving pixels, but also great at drawing them. Someone who can design stylish frames and bring them to life.
What you’ll be doing:
Creating bold and dynamic animations and motion graphics
Bespoke illustrations
Designing storyboards, style frames, and illustrated assets
Working closely with our Creative Director to turn ideas into beautiful, impactful content
Jumping in on a wide range of projects – from short-form social to animated explainers and campaign films
Bringing your own ideas to the table
What we’re looking for:
A strong showreel and portfolio showing your illustration skills
Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects (bonus points for cel or frame-by-frame work)
A good eye for design, composition and colour
Someone comfortable working solo on a project – but also easy to work with when the team’s all hands on deck
Good communications skills (being able to talk to clients)
Location:
We’re based in Hampshire on the South Coast of the UK. Ideally, we’re looking for someone local who’s happy working in the studio most of the week. We think it makes for better collaboration – and it’s just a nicer way to work.
Nice to have:
Experience working in a studio or agency
Knowledge of character animation
3D skills
Editing audio/video
A love for action sports
Designing merch/apparel
