Job Description
Join MindSource as we seek a talented individual to contribute to our client’s large consumer brand projects. We are looking for a hands-on professional with expertise in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the interactive space and its production requirements. You must be detail-oriented, comfortable working with multiple servers, organized, undaunted by tight deadlines, and possess a keen eye for image quality.
Contract Details
This is a 6-month hybrid contract position with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Motion Graphic Production Leads, Interactive Developers, and Design, Video, and Software teams to meet the client’s quality standards for video and animation deliverables. Engage in production and post-production of animations using both internal proprietary processes and industry-standard methods and tools. Develop production solutions through testing and research. Review final deliverables with an exacting eye. Track and check-in visual assets using a version control system. Ensure project deadlines are met with accurate file handoffs for localization. Support training of newer team members.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience with Adobe After Effects. Experience in After Effects compositing and animation; scripting and expressions are a plus. Expertise in Photoshop, including smart objects, resolution, and file export options. Knowledge of Illustrator for vector-based animations. Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge. Understanding or experience with Maya to After Effects workflow is a plus. Good understanding of basic 3D principles and pipeline. Experience in batch production, Adobe, Javascript, and Mac-based scripting is a plus. Experience with render farm setup and usage is also a plus. Highly detail-oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel. Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced web publishing workplace. Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills. Establishes rapport and collaborates easily with team members. Able to adhere to a consistent graphic production and check-in process, while also identifying opportunities for improvement. Problem solver with experience troubleshooting technical challenges. Resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude.
