Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and talented Motion Designer to join our growing team. As a consultant, you will collaborate closely with our Communications team to create visually compelling motion graphics, animations, and video content. Your role will focus on supporting the internal design needs across various divisions of Coral Gardeners, including developing templates, presentations, and social media assets that align with our mission of ocean conservation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the internal design needs: Assist in the creation of templates, presentation decks, and office design to meet the diverse needs of the different divisions of Coral Gardeners.
Campaign design assistance: Help design assets for campaigns, including social media graphics, ads, and newsletters. Your work will directly contribute to engaging our global audience with the message of coral restoration and ocean protection.
Collaborate with the Communications team: Assist with various design needs for internal and external communications, ensuring a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
Motion graphics and animation: Create motion graphics, animations, and video content that tells the story of Coral Gardeners’ initiatives and amplifies the impact of our projects.
Conceptualize visual storytelling: Work with the Communications team to brainstorm and conceptualize creative visuals for both short-term and long-term projects.
Ensure consistency: Maintain a high standard of design across all media, ensuring that all deliverables align with Coral Gardeners’ brand and visual identity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a motion designer, graphic designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, and general design skills.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and storytelling through animation.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, particularly in a remote or hybrid work environment.
Interest in or passion for ocean conservation and environmental issues is a plus.
Salary
This is a freelance, full-time contract position with an hourly rate ranging from €15 to €20 per hour (€30,000 to €40,000 per year), depending on experience.
