VizionMenu, a Canadian agency based in Montreal, specializes in innovative and impactful digital solutions tailored for the food and restaurant industries. We are a rapidly growing team passionate about creativity, technology, and excellence. We are currently looking for a talented Motion Graphic Designer to join our remote team and lead the creation of animated digital menus and branding assets for restaurants.
Responsibilities
Design fully custom, ANIMATED menu designs for restaurants TV screens (no templates or Canva designs). Create assets optimized for TV screens and digital signage in ultra HD. Apply animation principles to create smooth, visually engaging motion graphics. Lead the branding, logo design, and visual identity creation of restaurants. Ensure design consistency across all deliverables. Make revisions based on feedback and deliver high-quality results on time.
Requirements
Strong experience in graphic design and motion graphics. Mastery of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent. Solid understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling. Ability to create original, custom designs (no pre-made assets or templates). A strong portfolio with animated designs and branding work. Good organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to meet deadlines. Proficiency in English. Ability to respond to emergencies during Canadian business hours, even if working from a different time zone.
Nice to Have
Experience designing for the food, hospitality, or retail industry. Familiarity with UI/UX or Webflow is a plus. Skills in illustration, iconography, or video editing. Proficiency in French. Experience with brand guidelines and creating complete brand kits.
