Role Overview
In this role, you’ll conceptualize, design, and animate motion graphics that elevate brand experiences. You’ll work across a variety of formats, including 2D isometric graphics, logo animations, and kinetic text. From animated screen recordings and UI walk-throughs to explainer-style customer journey videos, you’ll turn complex interactions into clean, accessible, and engaging animations. A strong sense of rhythm, timing, and visual hierarchy is key, along with the ability to bring fresh, creative ideas to life within established brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Motion Graphics: Design and animate supporting visuals such as titles, icons, transitions, and lower thirds to enhance storytelling.
2D Isometric Animation: Develop isometric-style animated graphics for explainers or illustrative storytelling.
Kinetic Typography: Design animated text sequences that support messaging and engagement.
Customer Journey Videos: Animate screen recordings or UI walkthroughs to clearly demonstrate website shopping paths and user interactions.
Logo Animation: Create dynamic logo animations for branding and marketing assets.
Video Editing: Cut and assemble footage with motion graphics and transitions into polished, professional content.
Sound Integration: Sync voiceover, music, and sound effects to motion content as needed.
Organization: Maintain an organized project file system and upload final assets to SharePoint or other internal libraries.
Collaboration: Work closely with designers to ensure all visuals align with brand tone and goals.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in motion graphics and video editing.
Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro (Illustrator and Photoshop a plus).
Experience animating screen recordings, product walkthroughs, or UI-based journeys.
Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, timing, and visual hierarchy.
Skilled in 2D animation, isometric graphics, and kinetic typography.
Highly organized with experience managing multiple projects and deliverables.
A strong portfolio showcasing motion design work that includes digital product or customer journey storytelling.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with UX/UI flows or marketing for eCommerce platforms.
Experience with tools like Figma, Loom, or screen recording software.
