My name is Abbi and I’m a sign painter based in Hove (Actually!). I’ve been working in the industry since 2017. Starting out as a blackboard artist painting boards for beer (!), I’m proud to have painted for established hospitality brands such as Greene King, Young’s and Balfour Hospitality.

Job Description
We’re very pleased to say we are seeking talented and passionate Mural Artists to join our roster for upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional creativity, and the ability to bring artistic visions to life on large-scale surfaces. You will be responsible for conceptualising and executing murals in various locations, ensuring high-quality finishes and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Design and create custom murals for a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces.Prepare surfaces before painting, including cleaning, priming, and sketching designs.Use a range of materials and techniques to achieve desired artistic effects.Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications.Maintain a clean and organised workspace during and after project completion.
Requirements
Proven experience as a mural artist or painter/decorator, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of styles and completed projects.Full driving license and access to own vehicle for travelling to project sites.Must own and maintain personal brushes, tools, and other necessary painting equipment.Excellent artistic skills, including drawing, painting, and colour theory.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Own public liability insurance.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of mural preservation and maintenance.Familiarity with digital design tools for conceptual mock-ups (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Procreate).Working at Height qualification
