Description
We are searching for a creative 2D Animator to join the animation team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in 2D animation and a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create captivating and engaging animations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with directors, storyboard artists, and creative teams to understand project objectives and animation requirements. Create high-quality 2D animations, including character animation, motion graphics, and special effects. Develop and refine animation concepts, storyboards, and character designs based on project goals and client feedback. Use industry-standard software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools to create animations. Animate characters, objects, and scenes in a 2D environment, ensuring smooth and fluid motion. Stay updated on animation trends, techniques, and software to continuously enhance animation skills.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in animation, fine arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator, with a portfolio showcasing your 2D animation work. Proficiency in 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools. Strong understanding of animation principles, character animation, and storytelling. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to convey emotions and storytelling through animation. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with creative teams and clients. Strong problem-solving skills to address animation challenges and deliver high-quality work. Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience with frame-by-frame animation techniques. Knowledge of rigging and character setup for 2D animation. Strong artistic and drawing skills. Familiarity with sound synchronization and lip syncing in animation. Proficiency in other animation software or tools. Experience in a specific animation style or niche (e.g., traditional animation, cutout animation, explainer videos).
