Job Description
We are looking for a talented and creative 3D Animator to join our animation team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in 3D animation. As a 3D Animator, you will play a key role in bringing characters, objects, and environments to life through dynamic and captivating animations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Create high-quality 3D animations for characters, objects, and environments, following project guidelines and specifications. Rig characters and assets for animation, ensuring smooth and realistic movement. Animate characters’ facial expressions, body movements, and lip-syncing to match dialogue and emotions. Develop and implement keyframe animations, motion capture data, or procedural animation techniques as needed. Perform scene setup, camera animation, and lighting adjustments to enhance the overall animation quality. Collaborate with the animation team and art directors to understand project requirements and animation goals.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in animation, computer graphics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a 3D Animator. Strong knowledge of 3D animation software, such as Autodesk Maya or 3ds Max. Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling. Excellent understanding of animation principles and techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with motion capture technology and data. Knowledge of rigging and character setup. Prior Experience with 2D animation techniques. Proficiency in other animation-related software or tools. Experience in creating animations for games, films, or interactive media.
