Position
We are seeking a Senior Environment Artist to join our team working on some of Roblox’s top driving games. This position requires someone ready to work in a semi realistic art style.
Responsibilities
Create high-quality environment assets (roads, race tracks, buildings, terrain, props, and so on). Design intricate map/level layouts for a driving/racing game. Create 3D assets in 3D modeling programs and import them into the game engine. Locate references and colors, effectively work within any provided style.
Requirements
Strong 3D modeling skills. Expert level proficiency in a 3D package such as 3DS Max, Maya or Blender. Alternatively, strong relevant experience within Roblox Studio. Minimum 3 years of experience as a 3D Environment Artist. Strong experience with level design and scene dressing. Ability to work in a semi-realistic style. Knowledge of optimization techniques for mobile games. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Promptly learn any new tools or techniques. Ability to mentor less experienced artists. Relevant portfolio for this position. Bonus points for experience with the Roblox platform.
