Position Overview
We’re looking for a well rounded Senior Concept Artist to strengthen our concept art team. You will join us for the development of a new exciting video game title, set in a dark fantasy universe. So if you are fond of savage warriors, bloodthirsty monsters, and ominous landscapes/architecture, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Create environment, characters, FX concepts, props, weapons and armor concepts. Provide high quality concept art that fits the project’s realistic and dark style. Communicate with all departments (3D, animation…), in order to track the assets you designed throughout the whole development pipeline. Offer and receive constructive feedback to improve our team results. Be a proactive point of contact between other teams and concept art to dress the world in a way that makes it fun to play, beautiful, and easy to iterate on.
Requirements
4-5 years of experience working in the gaming industry, on various titles. Strong art fundamentals (drawing, light and color theory, perspective, anatomy, composition etc). Provide concepts and illustrations in a dark and realistic art style. Generalist profile, showcase an emphasis on environment and architecture. Proficiency in Photoshop and 3D Software. Experience shipping AAA video games. Good communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Interest in Hack n’ Slash games. Proficient written and verbal English skills.
