Job Description
Are you passionate about creating breathtaking environments that immerse players in stunning, photo-realistic worlds? Do you excel at crafting detailed biomes and dynamic landscapes? Join the team behind Pangea: Dawn, an adventure RPG where prehistoric creatures and human civilisations collide in a visually stunning, dynamic world.
Team & Goals
We’re a dedicated, creative team working towards releasing the first level of our ambitious game concept next year, with the goal to unlock more funding to develop the game further. Please note, this is not currently a permanent, salaried position. We will be paying developers for the production of specific assets. If the developer joins the team on a consistent basis, the developer will be offered the Revenue Share Agreement. We hope to have regular streams of funding soon, at which point the team members who have been with us consistently will be offered full-time positions.
Responsibilities
Sculpt terrain and landscapes to bring a prehistoric world to life, integrating photo-realistic foliage.
Create and implement shaders and materials to achieve lifelike environmental effects, including water, vegetation, and terrain textures.
Qualifications
Great knowledge in UE5
Proficient in a world building software (preferably World Creator)
Knowledge of importing and setting up huge landscapes (256km2 and bigger) and world partition
Knowledge of optimising Open World maps
Knowledge of GitHub is a plus
