Responsibilities
Create high-quality character animations (humanoid and/or creatures) and environment animations using Unreal Engine’s animation system (Sequencer, Control Rig, etc.), Implement and refine animation blueprints, blend spaces, and state machines, Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to ensure animations support gameplay and narrative goals, Rig and skin characters as needed (or work with rigged assets), Polish animations to meet visual and gameplay standards, ensuring responsiveness and natural motion,
Requirements
Proven experience animating in Unreal Engine 4 or 5, Strong understanding of body mechanics, character acting, and game-ready animation, Experience with Maya, Blender, or other 3D animation tools, Knowledge of Animation Blueprints, Montages, and Control Rig, Familiarity with real-time constraints and optimization for performance
