Job Overview
TACTICAL ADVENTURES is looking for a VFX Artist to replace a coworker on a maternity leave as a fixed-term contract (Freelance status is also accepted). Working with the other members of the artistic department, you will be responsible for part of the production and quality of the VFX.
Responsibilities
You will ensure that the artistic direction given to VFX is respected and you will integrate your work directly into Unreal Engine 5. Based on concept art or precise descriptions from the game designer, you will produce and integrate VFX into Unreal Engine 5. You will be the driving force behind the game’s VFX visuals. You will work closely with the Art Director, the Lead 3D Animator, the Principal Graphics Programmer, and the Senior Technical Artist to ensure optimum quality. You will model and texture 3D models to support the creation of your semi-realistic VFX.
Profile Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience in Video Game & Gameplay (5+ years will be a plus) Very good knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 & Niagara Interested in medieval-fantasy worlds Ability to work independently Able to work as a team Being attentive to deadlines
Nice to Have
Having a good command of Photoshop and Blender Having a keen artistic eye
