Job Opening: Video Animator for a 1.7M-Subscriber YouTube Channel

We’re thrilled to invite a talented and passionate video animator to join the Med School Insiders YouTube team! In this role, you’ll work closely with me and our creative team, including social media managers, writers, and producers.

Requirements

Highly detail-oriented, articulate, and able to adhere to instructions. Reliable and ethical. Commit to your words and actions. Resourceful, organized, and proactive. Independently solve problems and propose solutions. Proficiency in either Final Cut or Adobe editing suite. Familiar with Powtoon. High-performance computer (capable of editing 4K footage). High-speed internet (for file downloads and uploads). Experience with Photoshop (for creating thumbnails).

My Workflow

I’ll provide the voiceover audio file and script. Please review the Med School Insiders YouTube channel to understand the expected format; Submit a polished, YouTube-ready first draft and three thumbnail options; I’ll give feedback on the first draft and thumbnails. The second draft is typically final, though a third may occasionally be needed. A fourth draft should be unnecessary; Our team will handle YouTube uploading and publishing.

Collaboration and Growth

Initially, we’ll collaborate closely to align on style and expectations. As you become more familiar with our brand, you’ll have greater autonomy to make independent decisions on what works best and looks most effective. Salary is commensurate with experience.
