Salary: 1,106,252 COP – 1,325,775 COP
Location: Remote (Work from anywhere!)
Contract: Part-time, long-term role leading to possible full time opportunity
Position Overview
As our Video Editor & Animator, you will: Edit high-quality long-form YouTube content for a business thought leader. Create highly engaging short-form content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and TikTok. Ensure audience retention by adding compelling transitions, hooks, zoom-ins, cuts, and engaging visuals every 2-4 seconds for short-form content. Enhance & clean audio quality from field recordings, removing background noise and improving sound clarity. Leverage captions & subtitles to increase engagement and accessibility. Work with the graphic design team to animate images and enhance storytelling. Optimize videos for YouTube & social media trends, ensuring each video is formatted correctly for the platform.
Who We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in video editing & animation. Strong knowledge of YouTube editing techniques for high retention. Experience with short-form content & keeping engagement high. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. Understanding of sound design & audio clean-up (Adobe Audition or similar tools). Ability to work with motion graphics & animate static images. Knowledge of YouTube SEO & engagement strategies. Fast, responsive, and highly detail-oriented.
