Job Summary
TechAbout is looking for a talented Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team. This role is ideal for a candidate who excels in both video editing and motion graphics design. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging visual content by incorporating animations, graphics, effects, and storytelling elements that align with our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
🎬 Video Editing
Edit raw footage into a coherent and visually compelling final product. Apply transitions, color correction, sound design, and visual effects to enhance viewer engagement.
✨ Motion Graphics
Create animated assets such as intros, titles, lower thirds, infographics, and logo animations. Enhance videos with visually engaging motion design aligned with brand objectives.
🎨 Creative Asset Development
Design and integrate original graphics and animations. Ensure consistent branding across all visual content.
🤝 Team Collaboration
Work closely with producers, directors, marketing teams, and designers. Participate in creative planning and brainstorming sessions.
🛠 Software & Tools
Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop proficiently. Stay current with editing and design trends and software updates.
📖 Storytelling
Translate complex ideas into simple, powerful visual narratives. Contribute to concept development for both marketing and internal projects.
Skills & Qualifications
🎞 Strong portfolio showcasing diverse editing and motion graphics projects.
🎯 Creative mindset with strong visual storytelling and pacing sense.
💻 Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop).
🤝 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
🧐 Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality, on-brand visuals.
🔄 Flexible and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Experience with 3D tools like Cinema 4D or Blender.
Understanding of video formatting for social media and digital platforms.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in BSCS, BSIT, MCS, MIT, or a relevant creative/media discipline. 1–3 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
