Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist to bring our brand stories to life through engaging videos and animations. You will be responsible for editing video content, creating motion graphics, and collaborating with the marketing and design teams to produce high-quality visual content for social media, ads, promotional campaigns, and educational or product videos.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into polished, high-impact videos for social media, campaigns, and internal/external communications. Create and animate motion graphics for intros, explainer videos, logo animations, lower thirds, transitions, and title sequences. Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketers to develop compelling visual narratives. Add music, sound effects, voice-overs, and other elements to enhance video production quality. Manage post-production tasks including color correction, audio leveling, and visual effects. Maintain organized file structures and asset libraries for ongoing projects. Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends, editing techniques, and tools across platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Ensure brand consistency and storytelling quality across all video content.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Editing, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics creation. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Expertise in motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or similar. Strong understanding of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling. Knowledge of color grading, audio sync, and video optimization for web and mobile. Portfolio or showreel demonstrating a wide range of video editing and motion graphics projects.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with 2D/3D animation tools like Blender, Cinema 4D (bonus). Understanding of video formats, codecs, and delivery standards for different platforms. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
