At Play of Battle, we are looking for a talented 2D Artist to join our team and help bring our Grand Strategy/RTS game to life. This role is perfect for an artist skilled in AI-assisted workflows, photobashing, and digital painting, who can create realistic-looking images for in-game assets and marketing materials. What You’ll Do:

– Create high-quality, realistic 2D images using a mix of MidJourney, photobashing, and digital painting techniques.
– Design and refine 2D assets for the game.
– Compose marketing visuals, such as key art, banners, and promotional materials.
– Work closely with the Art Leads to ensure consistency and maintain the game’s artistic vision.
– Adjust and enhance AI-generated images to meet production standards.

What We’re Looking For:

– Strong proficiency in Photoshop for editing, painting, and composition.
– Experience with AI-assisted art tools like MidJourney and the ability to refine and enhance outputs.
– Excellent photobashing skills to blend images seamlessly into realistic compositions.
– Ability to create detailed 2D assets for both in-game use and marketing purposes.
– Strong sense of composition, lighting, and realism.
– Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

Bonus Skills:

– Experience with UI design for strategy or RTS games.
– Basic knowledge of 3D tools for integrating 2D and 3D elements.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take constructive feedback effectively.

Requirements:

– 1-2 years of experience as a 2D Artist in the game industry.
– Strong portfolio showcasing realistic 2D art, photobashing, and marketing compositions.
– Familiarity with game development pipelines and asset creation workflows.
