2D Illustrator — Game Art / Assets / AI-Assisted Pipeline Location Portugal | On-site Employment TypeFull-time | Immediate hire | Project in production About the RoleWe are hiring immediately for an on-site 2D Illustrator role in Portugal, joining the visual production of a game currently in development.This role focuses on the creation and refinement of 2D game art and production assets, with AI-assisted tools integrated into the workflow.We are looking for someone with strong visual sense, solid illustration fundamentals, and the ability to work on characters, props, and other production needs with care, consistency, and attention to final quality.The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hybrid pipeline that may involve drawing, paint-over, correction, iteration, and AI-supported image development, while maintaining artistic judgment and control over the final result.. Responsibilities • Create and refine 2D illustrations and production assets for the game • Work on characters, creatures, props, visual elements, and other game-related assets • Use AI-assisted tools as part of the art pipeline for ideation, variation, refinement, and support work • Execute paint-overs, corrections, cleanup, and visual improvements when needed Requirements • Portfolio in digital illustration, game art, or 2D asset production • Strong fundamentals in drawing, rendering, lighting, composition, and visual clarity • Ability to refine and improve images with attention to form, materials, and finish • Interest in, or familiarity with, AI-assisted image workflows ApplicationPlease send your CV and portfolio.If applicable, include a short note explaining how you use AI tools in your art workflow, along with examples of AI-assisted work.
