Job Description
This position will primarily be responsible for AutoCAD Inventor 3D CAD drawings and designs to customer-facing approval drawings and sheet metal layouts for the manufacture of engineered bulk material handling systems. Each system is designed per customer specifications to meet their requirements for functionality, productivity and expense. This position is for first shift, Monday through Thursday, 10hrs/day.
Initial Duties and Responsibilities
Create accurate and functional fabrication layouts, elevation and/or section view 3D CAD drawings of conveyor systems and related steel structures, platforms, and conveyor framework for customer approval and manufacturing. Occasionally travels to project site to measure conveyors/structures/buildings, diagnose and solve problems, and interface with the customer. Review and check other designer’s drawings before submitting to customer. Expand and maintain 3D drawing library of standard fabricated parts. Assist with flat pattern layout and nesting for waterjet and laser programs. Assist with shaft turning and drilling layout for CNC lathe and mill programs.

Excellent command of AutoCAD Inventor. iLogic is a plus. Support toward the achievement of our manufacturing, quality, safety, production and operating goals. Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude & development of bulk material handling equipment and components engineering.
