We’re looking for a 3D Environment Artist for contract cooperationto join our AAA project (Realism) - someone who can turn approved concepts into stunning, game-ready characters, push their quality to the next level in 3D, and support the team with both artistic vision and technical expertise!

Responsibilities

Create modular environment kits (walls, floors, props) for building game levels;Ensure assets follow visual direction, scale, and performance budgets;Collaborate with level designers to ensure kits are efficient and reusable;Maintain consistency across materials, lighting, and detail levels;Interpret concept art and location briefs into 3D environments;Model and texture modular assets in 3ds Max, Maya or Blender;Create and apply materials using Substance 3D, Photoshop;Import and assemble kits in the game engine;Optimize assets (polycount, lightmaps, LODs);Communicate with art and design teams for visual alignment and feedback.

Qualifications

Solid knowledge of modeling and texturing software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter);Experience with tiled textures and trim sheets;Full understanding of the PBR workflow;Experience working with Unreal Engine 5.x, including scene setup, importing assets, and applying materials;Ability to create high-quality, optimized assets for real-time environments;Understanding of modular environment design principles;Familiarity with baking techniques (normal maps, ambient occlusion);Basic knowledge of lighting and post-processing in game engines;Ability to communicate with people different culture background;Ability to digest the feedback and find most important points;Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines;Open-mindedness and willingness to learn new tools and workflows;Good English (at least B1 - spoken and written) for day-to-day team/customer communication.
