A creator-centric eBook and audiobook platform committed to fair writer compensation and innovative storytelling. The next-generation book stack is being built from the ground up with 3D animation, spatial design, and immersive formats.
Role Description
This is a contract internship for two HTML Artist roles at lumedot. The position is hybrid (Toronto-based preferred), with remote flexibility. Each HTML Artist will work within our internal tools to structure and prepare long-form content. The job is a blend: Half of the work is repetitive and structured — copying, pasting, organizing, checking formatting. The other half is creative — experimenting with layout, styling, and working toward more immersive, interactive content formats.
Track A – HTML Artist (Content + Light Marketing)
Structure and organize digital content using HTML and CSS. Help with basic marketing content (e.g. newsletters, styled social snippets). Support the growth of our creator and author community.
Track B – HTML Artist (Experimental + 3D Path)
Help structure and style long-form content. Collaborate on early 3D experiments for future immersive features. Contribute ideas toward new creative formats (visual, interactive, narrative).
Qualifications
Solid understanding of HTML and CSS. Strong sense of visual detail — spacing, layout, flow. Able to work independently and follow structured systems. Enjoys books, stories, or audio content. Curious, creative, open to learning.
Bonus
If you’ve ever played with: Markdown, EPUB, LaTeX, or structured content formats. Any creative coding or generative tools (e.g. p5.js, etc.). Three.js or JavaScript (for Track B).
Deeds
Contract Internship (3–6 months). 🕓 Part-time or full-time (flexible). 💰 Paid (based on experience). 🌱 Pathway to full-time. 📍 Toronto preferred (hybrid), but remote considered for the right person. 🧢 CEO with a green baseball cap.
