Job Position
We are seeking an expert freelance Motion Designer & Lottie Animator to craft eye-catching animations and dynamic demo videos for our agency and our B2B SaaS clients.
Responsibilities
You’ll collaborate closely with our co-founders and design team to conceptualize and produce compelling motion pieces, from UI / illustration Lottie animations to short promotional reels, that elevate the web experiences we deliver.
What You’ll Do
Create High-Impact Animations: Use After Effects, Lottie, and (optionally) Rive to animate illustrations, interfaces, and other design assets for Webflow-based websites.
Develop Demo & Promo Videos
Collaborate with our team to produce short, engaging videos (15-30 seconds) showcasing new UIs, product features, or project highlights, including music and sound design.
Ensure Consistent Visual Quality
Work closely with designers to maintain brand identity, visual consistency, and high production standards across all motion assets.
Collaborate on Asset Preparation
Coordinate with our design team in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator to properly export and prepare assets for seamless animation workflows.
Optimize for Web & Performance
Deliver animations that are optimized for performance, particularly Lottie animations, ensuring fast load times and smooth playback on Webflow projects.
Stay Current
Keep up with new techniques, tools, and trends in motion design, continuously refining the quality and impact of your animations.
What We’re Looking For
Proven Expertise in Motion Design & Animation: A strong portfolio showcasing interactive animations, preferably with experience in web-based motion or Lottie.
Mastery in After Effects & Lottie
Deep familiarity with After Effects, plus hands-on experience creating high-quality Lottie animations. Experience with Rive is a bonus.
Solid Visual & Storytelling Skills
A keen eye for design, composition, and timing, and the ability to convey narratives or product benefits through animation.
Sound & Editing Experience
Comfort adding sound effects, mixing music, and overall editing to deliver polished video pieces.
Attention to Detail
A self-driven approach to quality control—double-checking for smooth transitions, clean keyframes, and pixel-perfect animations.
Project Management & Collaboration
Ability to manage multiple projects independently while effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams (strategy, design, development).
