Role Overview
The CG Environment Artist will be responsible for creating stunning, photoreal environments using Houdini and industry-standard VFX tools. This role requires an artist who can bridge the gap between modeling, texturing, lighting, and matte painting to deliver highly detailed and dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
Build and develop procedural environments in Houdini.Collaborate with the CG and compositing teams to integrate environments seamlessly into shots.Create and optimize assets for rendering in V-Ray.Contribute to look development, lighting, and texturing of large-scale environments.Work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of visual quality.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Houdini for procedural environment creation.Experience with V-Ray rendering workflows.Background in DMP or a hybrid skillset across CG lighting, rendering, modeling, texturing, andmatte painting.Strong understanding of photorealistic lighting and composition.Ability to work collaboratively with a close-knit CG team.Experience in commercials or other fast-paced production environments a plus.
