*Job Title:* Freelance 3D Artist (Unity / VR) – Contract / Project Based *Location* : Remote*Engagement Type:* Freelance / Project-Based*Start:* Immediate We are looking for an experienced 3D Artist with Unity knowledge to help rework and expand our asset library. This role focuses on improving visual quality while maintaining strict performance requirements required for real-time VR applications. *Responsibilities* Rework existing humanoid character models (players, enemies, civilians) to achieve a realistic visual style. Rebuild and optimize gameplay objects and props including mines and other interactive assets. Recreate and improve environment assets such as walls, doors, windows, floors, and structural elements for interior scenes. Design and produce new environment props to improve realism and scene variety. Ensure all assets are optimized for VR performance (polycount, draw calls, texture usage, LODs). Prepare assets for Unity integration, including correct scaling, pivots, and material setup. Collaborate with developers to ensure assets integrate smoothly into existing scenes. *Requirements* Strong experience as a 3D Artist for games or real-time applications. Proven experience working with Unity. Experience creating realistic-style assets for environments and characters. Understanding of VR performance constraints and optimization techniques. Ability to create optimized low-poly models with efficient topology. Experience with texture optimization and LOD creation. Ability to rework existing assets while maintaining style consistency. A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work is required. *Nice to Have*Previous experience working on VR projects. Experience optimizing assets for mobile VR hardware.
