Job Overview
A 2D animator is sought to bring to life a 5–6 minute cartoon adaptation of a children’s book titled “My Key.” This remote position is open to animators based in the UK, Australia, or the USA. The animation should be engaging and appropriate for a young audience, drawing inspiration from classic Disney styles in tone and approach. The project is a personal endeavor with the potential for follow-up work if the collaboration proves successful. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work in children’s animation and the ability to deliver polished, professional results aligned with the emotional and visual appeal of beloved animated storytelling.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in 2D animation suitable for children’s content
Ability to work in a visual style inspired by Disney animation
Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of pacing and emotion in children’s media
Must be based in the UK, Australia, or the USA
Availability to complete a 5–6 minute animation within a reasonable timeframe
Reliable communication and ability to collaborate remotely
Mid-level experience preferred
